Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's developmental needs, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere. The ECE Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and ensure compliance with all educational standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through tailored activities
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's development and classroom events
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan school-wide activities and ensure consistency in teaching approaches
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
- Incorporate special education strategies when working with children with disabilities or special needs
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, communication, and educational software as needed
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and time efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Classroom experience demonstrating leadership and classroom management abilities
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and parent communication
- Computer operation skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes
