Wholesale & Community Sales Manager
HPA Motorsports — Langley, BC
About HPA Motorsports
HPA Motorsports has spent 35 years building for the VW and Audi community, from a garage in Langley, BC to a name recognized on the world stage. HPA's builds have graced the cover of magazines, won multiple SEMA awards, and been featured in video games such as Gran Turismo. That reputation reaches manufacturers too. Volkswagen Germany commissioned HPA directly to build cars for their inaugural SEMA debut. On the track, HPA campaigned a pair of Jetta GLIs in the Pirelli World Challenge, adding motorsport pedigree to the shop's build record. Today HPA continues that pedigree with modern bespoke VR6 builds and a full line of performance parts.
Role Summary
HPA is hiring a Wholesale & Community Sales Manager to own the customer-facing sales pipeline and the brand's presence in VW and Audi enthusiast communities. This person is the primary point of contact for dealer partners, build customers, and online communities from first inquiry through delivery and beyond. This is a relationship and sales role, not a junior support or creative position.
What We're Looking For
- Sales experience, ideally in a high-consideration or relationship-driven sales environment
- Comfortable representing a technical, engineering-led brand without resorting to hype or oversell
- Self-directed. Able to manage a pipeline of high-value customers and a public community presence without close daily supervision
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Lower Mainland, BC
- 2 or more years of experience in sales, account management, or dealer or distributor relations. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is an asset but not required, equivalent industry experience is valued equally
- Willing and able to travel within Canada and the United States for trade shows, dealer visits, and HPA events
- Genuine history in the VW or Audi enthusiast and motorsport community is a bonus

- Track sales activity against targets and provide regular pipeline and revenue reporting
Dealer Network
- Manage and grow HPA's wholesale dealer network relationships
- Drive strategic growth and partnerships across the dealer network
- Understand each dealer's needs and account potential, and identify opportunities to grow the account
- Engage and support dealer internal sales teams so they are equipped to promote HPA product to their own customers
- Process day-to-day wholesale and retail orders
- Write and issue quotations
- Negotiate pricing and terms with dealer accounts, and maintain consistent pricing across the dealer network
- Coordinate stocking orders with dealers to maintain their ready access to HPA products, working with production to align order timing with build capacity
Customer Service
- Handle escalated customer service issues that require sales or relationship context
- Provide build and delivery updates to VIP customers
- Own post-sale service and follow-up to ensure customer and dealer satisfaction after delivery
Community Outreach
- Own HPA's presence on Reddit, VW Vortex, and relevant Facebook and Instagram groups
- Build authentic, peer-level relationships in the community rather than posting as a brand account

- Travel to these events is a required part of the role
