At Blume Maternity Care, our collaborative team provides high-quality, evidence-based maternity care services grounded in the midwifery model of practice throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
We are a brand-new clinic located in Surrey, BC, providing care based out of Surrey Memorial Hospital, and officially opened our doors in July 2025. Our mission is to provide comprehensive full-scope prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for families welcoming their babies in this community. Our team proudly serves a large, diverse, and multilingual community, including many non-English-speaking, immigrant, and refugee families. We are deeply committed to providing care that’s inclusive, culturally safe, and accessible to everyone who walks through our doors.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Registered Midwife (RM) who is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based, and holistic maternity care. The successful candidate will join our dedicated team to support families through every stage of their birthing journey — from pregnancy to birth and beyond.
We are currently hiring Registered Midwives interested in one or more of the following opportunities:
- On-Call Hospital Shifts: Pick between either 12-hour or 24-hour call shifts.
- Prenatal Clinic: Enjoy the flexibility to book your clinic anywhere between 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM from Monday to Saturday (except Sundays), allowing you to create a schedule that works best for you.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
● Compensation is a fixed rate per on-call hospital shift ($1500/24-hour hospital shift) and per clinic day ($700/8-hour clinic shift).
● Note: There is potential for additional compensation for performing postpartum-only discharges from the hospital, and from billable services such as induction of labour and surgical assistance.
