Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to patients, diagnose and treat illnesses, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and therapies - Perform various medical procedures. - Provide acute care for patients with complex medical conditions - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately - Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Provide case management services for patients requiring ongoing care - Coordinate home care services for patients in need of additional support Skills: - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices - Proficient in conducting physical examinations and interpreting diagnostic tests - Experience in acute care settings, including pain management and laboratory procedures - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members - Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality Requirements: - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Ontario Canada - Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program - Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. - Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
