We are a growing used car dealership looking for a motivated Vehicle Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing quality used vehicles to support our inventory needs.
If the candidate has experience or a strong interest in vehicle sales, this can also be discussed as part of the role.
Responsibilities:
- Source used vehicles through auctions, private sellers, trade-ins, and online platforms
- Inspect and evaluate vehicles for condition, value, and reconditioning needs
- Negotiate purchase prices to meet dealership profit goals
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and vehicle details
- Monitor market trends and vehicle pricing
- Build and maintain relationships with sellers and auction partners
- Work closely with sales and service teams to ensure inventory readiness

Requirements:
- Experience in vehicle purchasing, sales, or the automotive industry preferred
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of vehicle values and market trends
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable with computers and inventory systems

Pay: $60,000.00-$78,663.77 per year
