Hiring TODAY: Experienced Construction Labourer
Applicants should have commercial construction industry experience and access to reliable transportation.
The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, they should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures.
*MUST HAVE: Shoring + Concrete finishing experience & Current Certificates (WHMIS/GHS etc.)
- Perform tasks involving physical labour at construction sites
- Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
- Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
- Identify utility lines
- Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
- Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other heavy equipment and instruments
- Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
- Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction
- Erect scaffolding, clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
- Assist other workers when necessary
Additional Skills: Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

Summary
As a Construction Labourer, you will be an essential part of our construction team, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include operating hand and power tools, assisting with concrete forming, and performing various tasks related to residential construction projects. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driving license. Your ability to read blueprints and work with heavy equipment will enhance project efficiency. We expect you to adhere to workplace safety standards and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on quality and timely project completion.
