Position Details:
- Part-Time Contract: Available for the summer, and into the 2026/27 school year.
- Location: Primarily in-person tutoring in Lethbridge, Although there may be some opportunity for online tutoring, applicants MUST reside in Lethbridge or Southern Alberta.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home tutoring (in pre-screened environments) or online sessions as required.
- Commit to consistent, weekly tutoring appointments with students and/or their parents.
- Submit session reports for each student.
Qualifications:
- Completion of at least one year of post-secondary education (two years preferred). A teaching certificate or retired teacher status is an asset, but not required.
- Experience in tutoring subjects such as Math, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Language Arts, Social Studies, French, Spanish, reading, literacy, and writing.
- A strong understanding of the Alberta K-12 School Curriculum.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to students' homes in and around Lethbridge.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check (background checks from other agencies are accepted).
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
