Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, demonstrating proficiency in using various tools and equipment. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers while ensuring their vehicles are in optimal condition. This Team is supported by Advisors who sell and a Manager who is also a Tech and gets that Hours are the key to technician success in a shop with a good mix of Customer Internal and Warranty.
The Candidates will be Driven and a professional in their field who cares not only about his career choice but understands that a great team is what drives overall success!
This is a Flat Rate position with a 3 tier pay system/Bonus. No Guaranteed hours! No Straight Time! Why? because we dont need it! If you are Driven , can provide quality repairs and diagnostics and thrive in a fun team enviorment you should reach out to us!
This is for experienced automotive technicians , However we would encourage 3rd or 4th year apprentices to submit your resume or reach out to our Service Manager!
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately
- Perform welding, assembly, and maintenance tasks as needed to restore vehicle functionality
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure all repairs meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Support team members with heavy lifting or physically demanding tasks when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of routine tasks
- Experience with automotive assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Mechanic experience demonstrating versatility across various repair tasks
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license required; relevant certifications are a plus
Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
