Job Description
Inside Sales for Residential Roofing.
About the Position:
- Attending customers by telephone, email or in person at the counter
- Support Outside Sales staff with customer order entry, expediting and quotations
- Maintain quality service by following organizational standards
- Provide technical support on product selection and application
- Proactively handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Will solicit orders from existing and new customer base
- Coordinate the prompt handling of customer service requests, including, but not limited to, order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims
- Handle written correspondence received from and sent to customers in a timely manner
- Maintain the merchandise on display and the counter area
- Assist in the receiving and delivery of product
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Construction products and applications is an asset
- Counter experience is an asset
- Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to prioritize work; be flexible
- Consistently able to meet deadlines competently and timely
- Practice excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
- Excellent communications skills
- Working knowledge of PC’s including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work with all levels of employees and management, both internally and externally
