Position
As the Audit & Accounting Manager, you will oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements while providing leadership to the accounting team. You'll manage a diverse client portfolio, ensure compliance with professional standards, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners across various industries.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit, review, and compilation engagements for private companies and not-for-profit organizations.
- Review financial statements, working papers, and corporate income tax (T2) returns.
- Ensure all engagements comply with ASPE, CSRE 2400, and applicable professional standards.
- Manage multiple client engagements from planning through completion while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and practical business advice.
- Review the work of junior and senior team members and provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with partners to resolve technical accounting and tax matters.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and implementing efficient accounting processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow efficiencies, and technology enhancements.
- Stay current on changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
Job Qualifications:
- CPA designation required.
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit, review, compilation, and corporate tax engagements.
Strong knowledge of:
ASPE
CSRE 2400
Corporate Tax (T2)
HST
Payroll
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve client operations and add value

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to new technologies.
- Experience with CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and willingness to travel within the GTA when required.
Pay: $120,000.00 per year
