Role Description
JT Scaffold Services is hiring a full-time, on-site Journeyman Scaffolder for projects across the Lower Mainland.
The Journeyman Scaffolder will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems on active construction sites. This role involves working closely with crew members and foremen to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
We are looking for someone experienced, reliable, and confident in their trade who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining safe job sites.
Qualifications
Journeyman Scaffolder certification required
Minimum 3 to 5 years of scaffolding experience in commercial or residential construction
Strong knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, and safe work practices
Valid Fall Protection or Working at Heights certification
Ability to read basic drawings, site instructions, and layouts
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Strong understanding of job site safety requirements
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
Good communication and time management skills
Valid driver’s license is an asset
Experience on commercial and multi unit residential projects is an asset
