Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
Reporting to: Director, Health Services
Salary Range: Annual salary $86,216 to 99,884, plus group health benefits and Health Care of Ontario’s Pension Plan (HOOPP)
Work Location: On site with flexibility to travel to NorthWestern Ontario as required
Direct Reports: Approximately 20
One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres (NorWest CHC) is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.
We are currently seeking 1 FTE Manager of Northwest Region Virtual Urgent Care Clinic(s). This manager position will support the mission, vision and values of of NorWest CHCs, and serve as a member of the leadership team. The Manager is responsible for leadership planning, delivery, evaluation, and supports the facilitation and coordination of the Virtual Urgent Care Clinic program across the Northwest Region.

Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in health administration, health sciences, nursing, public health, or Master’s degree considered a strong asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably community-based health care
- Knowledge in population health approach and Social Determinants of Health (DOH) framework
- Experience managing virtual care or digital health programs is strongly preferred
- Experience in program development, quality improvement, and data-driven decision-making
- Strong understanding of PHIPA, privacy legislation, and client confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams in a multidisciplinary environment
- Superior interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EMRs Ocean Referral, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Understanding of MSAA program and deliverables is an asset
- Excellent understanding of Ontario’s current healthcare system transformation strategy and Community-based care models is an asset
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
