Power Sports & Marine Parts Technician — Experienced Hire
Who We Are
We started as an auto shop in 1996 and grew into Northwestern Ontario's home for everything that moves off-road & on-water — sleds, ATVs, side-by-sides, boats, outboards, trailers, generators. We're not a franchise running a script. We're a family business that hands authority to people who've earned it.
Why Experienced People Stay Here
Most shops make their best parts people spend years proving themselves before they get any latitude. We don't work that way. If you've got the judgment, you'll be using it in your first month — pricing calls, sourcing decisions, vendor relationships, even input on how we stock for the season. We're not interested in babysitting someone who already knows the job.
What You've Probably Already Got
- Fluency across powersports, marine, or related parts systems (CFMOTO, BRP/Ski-Doo/Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Polaris, or comparable — tell us where your depth is)
- The instinct to solve the customer's actual problem, not just look up a part number
- A track record of being the person other people ask when something's backordered, obsolete, or doesn't exist in the catalog
- Enough scar tissue from bad systems or bad management to know exactly what you don't want to repeat here
What's Different About This Role
- Pricing and sourcing authority within clear thresholds — not a "check with the manager" culture
- Direct input into how we run parts, not just execution of someone else's process
- A Red Seal apprenticeship pathway if you want to formalize what you already know, or a straight senior role if you've already got your ticket
- Pay that reflects what you bring on day one, not what you'll eventually earn after two years of "paying dues"
What We Want From You
Skip the generic resume if you want — instead, tell us about a call you made to find a tough part, a customer that you screwed up with and what you did you fix it, or a vendor that turned out to be the right one, and why. We'd rather hear that than a list of previous job titles.
May your adventures be epic, and your gear in top shape!
