Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Server to join our team at the Delta Mississauga in our Driftwood Social Bar + Table. This role is essential in delivering outstanding service to our guests in our Restaurant and through Room Service and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. Join us in creating memorable moments for our visitors while supporting our hotel's mission of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, providing attentive and personalized service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Manage tables effectively to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance tills at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining area.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service in hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for billing and transaction purposes.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility on AM/PM shifts. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
