Role Overview:
As an IT Junior Consultant, you’ll be an important contributor to client engagements, supporting projects from initial discovery through solution delivery. You’ll work closely with Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Technical team members to help translate client needs into clear requirements and high-quality deliverables.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys learning by doing, working directly with clients, and building a strong foundation in consulting, information management, and Microsoft-based solutions in a supportive, hands-on environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Discovery & Requirements Support· Participate in client workshops and discovery sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and document business requirements, including workflows, permissions, and system configurations.
- Assist in preparing requirement documents and functional specifications for review and approval.
- Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Solution Delivery & Project Support· Support configuration and testing activities under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Assist with documenting solution decisions and ensuring deliverables align with agreed-upon requirements.
- Help bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
Testing, Adoption & Enablement· Assist in developing testing scripts with clear instructions and expected outcomes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including coordination and documentation.
- Draft change management and training materials to support client adoption.
Collaboration & Communication· Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and visual materials for client meetings, workshops, and status updates.
- Coordinate and assist with client meetings, ensuring agendas, notes, and follow-up actions are documented.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You Bring:
- New graduates welcome — Degree or Diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Interest in consulting, technology delivery, and working directly with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to dig into the details.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Prior IT or implementation experience is an asset.
- Experience with SharePoint, OpenText Content Server, or other ECM platforms is an asset.
- AIIM, ARMA, or similar certifications are considered an asset.
