Security Guard (Part-time) - Industrial Site
Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan.

Job Type: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $27 per hour
Shifts: 0600-1800, 1800-0600 Monday-Sunday
Overview :
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan location.
Requirement:

Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.

Experience with report writing and note-taking.

Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.

Valid Saskatchewan security guard training certificate or willing to obtain.
-
The company will provide the security guard training if needed.

Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30 hours per week.

First Aid and CPR
-
Must be at least 25 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experience

Must be available to work on-call shifts.

Must have access to a reliable vehicle.

Must be able to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.

Must be a permanent resident or Canadian Citizen.

Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 full Driver’s License
Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

Access control for the facility/area
-
Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times
-
Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies

Undertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from the Site Supervisor or Manager
-
Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents

Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site-required training
