The Warehouse worker will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This position will also act as a relief driver when required. The Driver will transport products in a safe manner and by following proper provincial regulations. Delivers products to customers on time while providing excellent customer service as the face of the company.
Pay rate: $23/hr
Responsibilities:
- Pick or receive products accurately in warehouse bins
- Effectively plan a delivery route and load orders onto truck
- Provide and maintain exceptional service levels to customers
- Help in the warehouse with receiving and cleaning tasks as required
- Dangerous goods handling and forklift training will be provided (previous experience is an asset)
Requirements:
- Plan and organize routes effectively; clear communication is a must
- Must be able to lift in excess of 25 kgs and frequent lifting on average of 10 to 15 kgs
- Must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and provide driver's abstract
- Must be customer service orientated and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills
- Must own a personal vehicle for the commute.
