Accounts Receivable/Marketing Specialist

Steers Distribution Limited is one of Atlantic Canada’s leading and longest established international distribution companies. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our operations team as an Accounts Receivable/Marketing Specialist.
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Receivable/Marketing Specialist is responsible for performing financial analysis of the company’s receivables including credit application review and analysis, collection calls on slow paying accounts, ensuring receivables are current and providing any other financial analysis and reporting. This position is also responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s e-commerce marketing, which includes managing the company website, e-commerce site and other social media platforms. The candidate will design digital and print materials including posters and ads.
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge of accounting, collections, office administration and marketing supported by the completion of an appropriate post secondary program and related experience. The incumbent must demonstrate effective verbal and listening communications skills, computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level, and effective time management skills.
This position is permanent full-time based in Corner Brook. Normal hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
