Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pool Lifeguard to join our team at Summer Swim Academy in Hamilton and surrounding areas. As a lifeguard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our students and guests during swimming activities, helping us promote water safety and enjoyable swimming experiences.
Responsibilities
- Monitor backyard pool areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service to students and guests.
- Educate swimmers on water safety practices.
- Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross Lifeguard Certification).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Prior experience in lifeguarding or water safety is preferred.
- Good physical fitness and swimming ability.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
- Friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability to work during peak times, including weekends.
