Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Perform order picking and fulfillment accurately to meet customer demands.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all packages are handled correctly.
- Fabricate packaging materials as required for various products.
- Maintain an organized warehouse space, ensuring all items are stored in their designated locations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Assist with mechanical tasks as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
- Engage in heavy lifting of products and materials while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment upkeep and minor repairs.
- Ability to perform order picking efficiently and accurately.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes is beneficial.
- Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
