Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The Kitchen Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring efficient kitchen operations and excellent customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with ordering when needed (kiosk-based ordering system)
- Package takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform basic food preparation (e.g., portioning, assembling ingredients)
- Garnish dishes to presentation standards
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Wash dishes as needed (generally light dishwashing duties)
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Previous restaurant experience is an asset, but not required
