As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help build and lead our operations team while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the organization.
Position Summary:
This is a newly created leadership role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of our company. The Operations Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop operational processes, oversee day-to-day field operations, improve workflow efficiencies, and support the continued growth of the business.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in the mechanical, electrical, construction, or facilities services industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building systems that support long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and oversee daily operations across multiple departments and service divisions.
-Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures.
-Support and mentor department coordinators, and field teams.
-Monitor project and service performance to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability.
-Work closely with estimating, project management, dispatch, and accounting teams to improve communication and workflow.
-Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop strategies to improve operational performance.
-Assist with resource planning, workforce allocation, and scheduling.
-Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
-Identify opportunities for growth, process improvements, and cost savings.
-Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable workplace culture.
Qualifications:
-5+ years of operations management or senior leadership experience.
-Experience within the construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or facilities services industry is considered a strong asset.
-Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance.
-Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong financial and business acumen.
-Experience developing processes, procedures, and operational strategies.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
-Valid driver's licence.
