Sooke Harbour House is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher / Steward to support our kitchen operations. As an iconic oceanfront boutique hotel and dining destination on Vancouver Island, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, elevated dining experiences, and a collaborative team culture.

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish pit, kitchen floors, storage areas, and garbage/recycling stations

Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries as needed

Support kitchen team with basic prep tasks when required

Ensure sanitation standards and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Keep work areas clean, tidy, and ready for service periods

Work closely with chefs and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

Reliable, punctual, and team-focused

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required

Willingness to learn and grow within hospitality operations
