Now Hiring: Experienced Moving Driver / Crew Lead
Location: Edmonton, AB
Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience
Eager Beaver Moving & Storage is actively recruiting experienced moving industry professionals who are ready to step into Driver / Crew Lead roles.
We are not looking for entry-level movers.
We are looking for candidates who have already worked for moving companies, furniture delivery companies, appliance delivery companies, or similar operations where customer service, furniture handling, and truck loading were part of the job.
The right candidate should be capable of learning our operating procedures and transitioning into running a truck and crew independently within a short period of time.
What You'll Do
Lead residential and commercial moving crews
Conduct customer walkthroughs and assess job scope
Load and unload moving trucks safely and efficiently
Pad, wrap, protect, and secure furniture properly
Direct crew members and maintain productivity throughout the move
Manage customer communication on site
Complete paperwork, move documentation, and customer sign-offs
Operate 3-ton and 5-ton moving trucks throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas
Represent Eager Beaver professionally at all times
What We're Looking For
Previous moving company experience strongly preferred
Furniture delivery or appliance delivery experience considered
Experience driving 3-ton or 5-ton trucks
Experience leading crews or running jobs independently
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to assess job scope and adapt when conditions change
Physically capable of performing full-day moving work
Available for early starts, longer days, and Saturdays when scheduled
Valid Class 5 Driver's License- Air Brakes are an Asset
