Part-Time, Casual | Early Mornings and Weekends | Windsor-Essex
We are hiring reliable Event Operations and Logistics Staff to support event setup, floor marking, equipment movement, transportation, teardown, and venue operations.
This role is suited to someone who prefers active, practical work and takes pride in completing physical tasks accurately and efficiently.
Compensation: $22/hour
Typical shift length: 8 hours
Typical frequency: 1-3 shifts per month
Location: Windsor and Essex County and surrounding areas
Responsibilities
- Load and unload event equipment
- Transport supplies and materials
- Measure and mark vendor spaces
- Read and follow floor plans
- Place tables, chairs, barriers, signs, and equipment
- Organize tools, supplies, and storage areas
- Maintain clear aisles and emergency access
- Assist with vendor loading and placement
- Correct setup issues
- Move equipment during the event when required
- Complete teardown
- Collect and account for company equipment
- Report missing or damaged items
- Leave venues clean and organized
You will be expected to complete assigned areas without continuous supervision.

This role is not a good fit for someone who is frequently late, treats measurements as approximate, handles equipment carelessly, resists safety procedures, or avoids cleanup and teardown.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence
- Access to a pickup truck, van, SUV, or trailer
- Experience securing or transporting cargo
- Basic tool knowledge
- Experience with dollies, ladders, hand trucks, or tie-downs
- First Aid certification
- Reliable weekend availability
- Ability to attend early-morning call times
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone with mobile data
- Ability to use Slack or similar communication tools
- Ability to safely lift and carry event equipment
- Ability to read measurements and follow diagrams
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
