Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver – Dairy Product Delivery & Warehouse Support to join our team. This role involves delivering dairy products to customers, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience in warehouse or commercial driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks to transport dairy products to various customer locations within designated routes
- Organize and palletize finished products for shipment.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
- Assist with warehouse support tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery schedules, product issues, or delays
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for record-keeping purposes
- Maintain product temperature integrity and cleanliness during transportation.
Experience
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is preferred
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license is required
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
- Experience in handling heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with customers effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to moving goods, operating equipment, and driving commercial vehicles
Pay: $20.00 per hour
