This person will be responsible for maintaining the fleet equipment safely, effectively and economically.
Successful candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum registered Third-Year 310T Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice who has successfully completed all three levels of the in-school apprenticeship training program.
- A Valid G license (upgrade to C License provided if needed)
- Z endorsement (training arranged and paid for if needed)
- Related diesel experience
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work afternoon or night shifts – with the movement to days when opportunities arise (currently filling vacancies in afternoon – 3PM to 11PM and night shifts – 11PM to 7AM)

- Copy of registration of apprenticeship
- Proof of completion of related in-class training for 310T
- Copy of your valid G class (or higher) Ontario Driver’s License
- Copy of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Police Information Check from the municipality in which applicants reside. If a records check reveals a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted, the candidate will be not proceed in the selection process for further assessment. Police Information Checks cannot be older than 14 days upon submission.
