At JS Welding & Fabrication, we specialize in delivering comprehensive welding and custom metal fabrication services across a broad range of sectors. Our projects span custom fabrication, structural welding, automotive applications, and various industrial and residential builds throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and beyond.
As part of our continued growth and commitment to service excellence, we are currently seeking two experienced and highly skilled welders/fabricators to join our dynamic team. One of the positions will require full proficiency across all core welding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality welding using processes such as SMAW (Stick), MIG, and TIG.
- Perform accurate material cutting using oxy-fuel cutting torches.
- Interpret and apply blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols to ensure precise fabrication.
- Support a wide range of on-site and mobile welding assignments as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to industry safety regulations and company policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SMAW/Stick welding.
- Must be able to use the cutting torch efficiently to perform work.
- Proven ability to work across multiple welding processes including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel for mobile welding assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret weld symbols and technical blueprints.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CWB certification or equivalent welding qualifications (an asset).
- Experience in structural and automotive welding environments.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in industrial fabrication.
