Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Junior Hairstylist to join our dynamic salon team. Duties
- Provide basic hair styling services such as cuts, blowouts, and styling for clients
- Assist senior stylists with various salon tasks and client needs
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas
- Engage with clients to ensure a positive experience, addressing their preferences and concerns
- Promote retail products and upsell services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, check-ins, and payments
- Foster strong communication with clients to build lasting relationships and encourage repeat business
Qualifications
- Completion of hairstyling program/diploma or the equivalent
- Previous salon experience is considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Understanding and knowledge of salon hygiene, sanitation and health & safety standards
- Passion for the beauty industry and ongoing professional development
