Location: Canso Seaside Manor - Canso
Responsibilties:
- Prepares scheduling for the nursing department (RN’s, LPN’s & CCA's) and posts schedules for all other departments
- Replaces daily sick calls for Nursing department
- Provides clerical/front office support such as fielding general inquiries, relaying messages, and general correspondence answering phone calls efficiently and courteously, and transfers same as necessary. Ensures delivery of faxes, mail, internal memos and correspondences
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the Administrative Team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Preferred knowledge of SSC program (Staff Scheduling Care) or similar software
- Must be reliable with a good attendance record
- Must be fully Vaccinated
- Team player with a professional and courteous manner
- Previous experience working in the Long Term Care setting an asset.
- Long-term care experience required
- Working knowledge of collective agreements
- Judgement and initiative
- Grade 12 high school or equivalent
- Graduate of post-secondary education with relevant certification
