Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sandwich Artist to join our team. This role involves preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in all food handling and preparation activities
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation protocols
- Assist in stocking supplies and organizing the kitchen area for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or moving product as needed
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
