Job requirements:
- Must be able to communicate with Fleet Manager and fellow employees to ensure the needs of the fleet are met
- Must provide your own steel-toed safety boots & tools
- Must have significant mechanical knowledge
- Must own your own form of transportation as there is no public transit available to our location
- Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Service attachments and working tools
- Verify and repair emission control systems
