Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. This role is vital in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all production processes, while maintaining a productive team atmosphere.
Job Summary:
- Supervises production employees and is responsible for the maintenance of good employee relations together with discipline, safety and general supervision, trains employees in work conformance to part specifications and adjustment of machines. May also indirectly supervise employee in other departments depending on shift.
Performance Expectations and Desired Characteristics:
- Supervise operations of the facility with an aim for high performance
- Drive the training process of all production employees on assigned shift.
- Carry out employee performance reviews or disciplinary actions according to company policy.
- Ensure team is adhering to safety policies, continuously pushing safety as a top priority.
- Monitoring daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies, and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary assisting in all aspects on the production floor.
- Accurate daily and weekly tracking of employee attendance and timecard management.
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet productions goals.
- Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
- Maintaining communication between employees and management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
- Ensure the flow of raw materials and other resources, to ensure accurate inventory.
- Others duties as assigned
Experience:
- 6 years of progressively responsible manufacturing related experience, with 1-2 years in a lead hand role
- Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments, with a strong understanding of assembly processes,
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a production setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to lead teams and coordinate across departments. Salary:
- $60,000 - $75,000 based on experience
