Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator to join our silage operation in Cache Creek. In this role, you will operate and maintain a variety of farm equipment and machinery while supporting field activities throughout the season. Travel to multiple ranch locations will be required.
This position is physically demanding and involves the safe use of power tools, heavy lifting, and hands-on work with farm machinery. We are seeking an individual who is reliable, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced agricultural environment.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain equipment such as tractors and irrigation systems
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting activities
- Maintain gardens and landscapes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
-Farming experience is required
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Familiarity with farm machinery and irrigation systems is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

- Cache Creek, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
