We are a diversified, growth-oriented and safety-focused company that has been in business for over 75 years. Our fleet is based in Whitecourt Alberta and we are currently hiring drivers based out of Hinton & Grande Cache to haul bulk woodfiber with b-train units.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Class 1 driver with Whitecourt Transport, you’ll be driving newer model Kenworth and Freightliner tractors pulling well maintained Livefloor trailers and/or Super B chip trailers. We offer driving positions based in Hinton, & Grande Cache, Alberta
JOB DUTIES
- Perform daily vehicle inspection and communicates all vehicle maintenance issues with local shop staff
- Load and deliver wood chips, sawdust, and bark mulch from overhead bins
- Tarp trailers with easy to use roll tarps
- Unload trailers using hydraulic truck tipper system
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle in compliance with company standards
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Class 1 license
- Minimum 3 years Tractor/Trailer driving experience
- Must be based in Hinton, or Grande Cache
- Must have own transportation
