Job Summary
Under the authority of the IT department, and the supervisor of system administrators, the incumbent is part of a team of Microsoft, Linux and Microsoft 365 system administrators responsible for maintaining, backing up and supervising the entire computer network of the company. This includes cloud solutions on Microsoft 365, Azure and Hyper-V platforms in an international context, as well as its solutions hosted with partners. He also participates in the development and implementation of various IT systems projects as well as the optimization of existing systems.
Finally, he provides level 3 IT support for all EQUANS North America subsidiaries.
Description
- Provide Azure and Microsoft 365 Level 3 cloud support (and all related solutions) in collaboration with an international support team for all EQUANS North America entities;
- Offer support on all current and future Microsoft 365 services;
- Meet service level agreements (SLAs);
- Conduct operations in compliance with current ISO standards and ITIL processes;
- Assembly, commissioning, maintenance, updating, evolution, monitoring and securing of the computer equipment of the server rooms in the various sites of the company;
- Ensure proactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on all computer room equipment;
- Participate in the evolution of existing technologies and recommend solutions to improve system reliability and capabilities;
- Ensure the security and integrity of the Active Directory fabric and line-of-business applications;
- Manage Azure, VMWare, Nutanix, and Hyper-V virtualization platforms;
- Ensure the proper functioning of daily backups and restores of data and applications based on the VEEAM solution;
- Provide IT support to the IT teams of EQUANS North America entities outside of normal working hours with on-call duties;
- Propose or develop solutions to improve performance;
- Develop and produce various management reports, and all required operational and project documentation;
- Perform any other related task required by his/her duties or requested by his/her immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada;
- Be able to pass the required level of security;
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (D.E.C.) in vocational training (three years of study);
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.
