Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate new business through outside sales efforts, including cold calling and lead generation activities.
- Manage assigned territories effectively, ensuring consistent coverage and relationship building with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct engaging product demos and technical sales presentations to showcase features and benefits tailored to client needs.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through excellent account management and customer service.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue within existing accounts.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development initiatives.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a focus on territory management.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Expertise in CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for lead management and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and customer negotiations.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of retail sales, inside sales strategies, and direct sales techniques.
- Familiarity with marketing principles, lead generation tactics, and analysis skills to optimize sales efforts.
