Job description:
Rize Bikes is seeking an experienced Bike Mechanic to join our team in Vancouver. We are an established e-bike company specializing in premium, high-performance models for the Canadian and US markets.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, tech-savvy, and dedicated to providing expert maintenance and repair services. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Perform remote diagnostics and provide repair instructions for customers (ranging from basic adjustments to complex electrical troubleshooting).
- In-House Service: Diagnose, service, and repair e-bikes using specialized tools.
- Customer Relations: Resolve inquiries and complaints promptly via multiple channels while maintaining a professional, empathetic attitude.
- Sales & Estimates: Provide accurate quotes for parts and services; recommend solutions based on client needs.
- Operations: Maintain workshop cleanliness, assist with inventory management, and collaborate with the team.
- Quality Control: Provide timely feedback on product trends and recurring technical issues.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise: Experience with bicycle/e-bike mechanics and Bafang motors.
- Skills: Proficient manual dexterity with hand tools and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Service Background: Prior experience in a bike shop or customer-facing role.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to explain technical concepts simply.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
