Job Title: Admission Counsellor

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Full-time)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Admission Counsellor to join our team in Scarborough. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through the admissions process by assessing their academic background, recommending suitable programs at Canadian colleges and universities, and managing applications through various admission portals. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding study opportunities in Canada.
- Assess students' academic qualifications and eligibility for various college and university programs.
- Recommend suitable institutions and programs based on students' educational background, career goals, and eligibility.
- Prepare and submit student applications through admission portals such as OCAS, ApplyBoard, and other institutional application systems.
- Guide students through the admission process, including documentation, offer letters, and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate student records and application status.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleges, universities, and internal team members.
- Stay updated with admission requirements, program offerings, and institutional policies.
- Handle multiple student applications simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the student admission journey.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in student admissions, education consulting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian college and university admission processes.
- Experience using admission platforms such as OCAS, ApplyBoard, and similar application portals.
- Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Excellent interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online application systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday.
