Park-Aid Asphalt & Maintenance is looking for a Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team for our Construction season. All work will be done in the Edmonton and surrounding area. Travel may be required based on position and department. Successful candidates should be hardworking, self- motivated and enthusiastic team players, willing and ready to work with all personalities. Candidates must have a priority for safety.
Responsibilities:
As a class 3 Truck Driver you will work on a variety of commercial and residential sites.
Completion of pre and post trip inspections and all other documents required for the operation of the NSC truck.
Qualifications:
Must provide a 5 year commercial driver’s abstract with in a 30 day range of hire.
Must have 3 to 5 year experience driving a Class 3 Truck
Must have Dump truck Experience.
Must have experience in backing in a Paver.
Must be able to Drive both Standard and Automatic.
Must be willing to work AM and PM shifts.

Hours of Work
Days, Evenings, and Weekends. Hours are based on the needs of our clients and scope of jobs. Shift work.
Working Conditions
Dusty
Weather conditions vary: Hot, Cold, Windy, Rain
Extended work hours with overtime will be required.
Wage based on experience.
Safety
At Park-Aid Safety is our top priority! We require the participation of all employees, supervisors and foremen. The following will be required of you:
- Review, understand and follow all Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Follow OH&S guidelines.
- Potential participation in Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee, monthly meeting and representative in the field.
- Participate in Hazard Assessments, Job site inspections, and Equipment Maintenance Inspection, near-miss or Accident-Incident forms.
- Inform the Safety Manager of all Incidents, Accidents, Near-misses and Safety Infractions.
- Participate in Safety toolbox Talks, FLHA’s daily.
- Implement Safety into all tasks related to your scope of work.
- Ensure proper use of PPE.
