Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Coordinator/ Manager to join our team. This role is essential in managing day to day operations , communication, and coordination of services related to heavy truck and trailer repair . The ideal candidate will have strong skills in the transportation /automotive industry, data entry, and analysis, with excellent communication and phone etiquette. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting our repair facility functions, ensuring seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Coordinate and manage commercial vehicle repairs using systems such as Shop Boss to ensure timely delivery and pickup of vehicles repaired or awaiting repairs.
- Oversee ordering , receiving and processing of parts , including documentation, tracking, and inventory management.
- Communicate with customers on the status of repairs, estimates and providing final invoices.
- Maintain accurate data entry related to shipments, orders, and inventory in our shop management system.( training will be provided )
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams via phone systems and email to facilitate smooth operations.
- Analyze data to identify trends or issues and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Manage front end/desk of the business
- Handle inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing excellent customer service support.
- Support the coordination of repairs, parts , and billing related documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience with automotive or heavy truck industry.
- Strong understanding of repairs and parts on commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy and typing skills.
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret and identify operational improvements.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and inventory management.
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with automotive repair coordination is a plus.
This position is integral to maintaining efficient repair operations within our organization, supporting overall business success through effective coordination and communication.
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
