Position Overview
The Junior Foreman works closely with the Foreman to help lead landscape crews on job sites. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on landscaping experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership while still working in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Foreman in supervising daily job site activities
- Lead small crews when required and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Read and follow landscape plans and job specifications
- Ensure quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Train and support crew members
- Maintain job site safety and company standards
- Communicate progress and issues to the Foreman or Project Manager
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of landscaping experience
- Basic leadership or crew lead experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
