About the Career Opportunity.
- Underwrite and evaluate residential and commercial real estate acquisition and development opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models for acquisitions, development, value-add initiatives, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Support due diligence, transaction execution, lender reporting, and investor reporting
- Monitor portfolio, project, and asset-level performance, including budget-to-actual analysis and cash flow forecasting
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Partner with acquisitions, development, construction, asset management, and finance teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Help improve reporting processes, financial controls, and analytical tools across the business
What You Bring.
- Deep understanding of regional communities and properties in Ontario, specifically the Greater Toronto Area
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Real Estate Economics, or a related field
- 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, real estate investments, development, asset management, private equity, or a related environment
- CPA or CFA in progress is considered an asset
- A driven, highly organized, and proactive approach, with a reputation for being reliable, accountable, and taking full ownership of data quality and reporting accuracy
- Strong financial modeling, underwriting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess building performance, evaluate opportunities, and interpret complex financial models
- The ability to prepare insightful financial statement analysis, polished presentations, and decision-ready materials for leadership and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
- Advanced Excel skills and strong presentation capabilities
