Job Overview
We are seeking an owner operator for our Toronto Montreal and/or US runs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on assigned routes.
