Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Tire Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, tire service, and vehicle maintenance, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety. This role involves performing tire replacements, wheel alignments, oil changes, and other mechanical services to ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Prior dealership or service technician experience is highly preferred, along with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems.
Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Perform wheel alignments and brakes repair to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical problems and recommend necessary repairs or services
- Assist customers with tire selections and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify potential safety concerns or maintenance needs
- Support the team with general maintenance tasks as needed to ensure smooth shop operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems
- Experience with tire service, wheel alignment, oil changes, and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Physical ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely (heavy lifting required)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Prior sales experience related to automotive parts or services is a plus
