Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and skilled GPS & Non-GPS Dozer Operators to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate both GPS-guided and traditional dozers to perform earthmoving tasks essential for large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help ensure precise grading, leveling, and site preparation, contributing to the successful completion of complex projects. Duties
- Operate GPS-enabled and conventional dozers to move earth, gravel, and other materials efficiently and accurately
- Perform site grading, leveling, and excavation tasks according to project specifications using advanced machinery
- If able, assist with the operation of auxiliary equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and paving machines to support project needs
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic repairs when necessary
- Support operations and other specialized tasks as required by project scope
Requirements
- Proven experience operating dozers, including GPS-guided models, in a construction environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- If able to operate related machinery such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, packers, and other equipment
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with 5 year drivers abstract
- Experience with in a mine environment or earthworks projects
- Knowledge of equipment is highly desirable
- Demonstrated construction experience with a focus on earthmoving and site preparation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Shift - 14/7
Travel In / Out (Travel only paid from Saskatoon,SK to Key Lake, SK)
Out-of-province applicants are responsible for all travel costs to and from Saskatoon, SK.
12 hour days (Overtime after 8)
D&A Test Required | WHIMIS Training Provided | Ground Disturbance Level 2 | Metatarsal Boots Required
