Job Description:
Ballina Contracting is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Technician to join our team in Chilliwack, BC. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for candidates with strong engineering and project coordination experience across various infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise civil construction projects
- Work on roads, highways, bridges, water control systems, and environmental structures
- Utilize CAE tools, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, MS Office, and Primavera for project tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety and design standards
- Conduct on-site evaluations and inspections
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering roles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, GIS, and other design software
- Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environments and under tight deadlines
Working Conditions:
