What you will do:
- Work safely and follow safe work practices and procedures while on site.
- Work along side apprentices and labourers to provide direction, guidance, and training.
- Assist with the construction of all types of residential buildings including, wood, steel, and concrete throughout the various stages of build.
- Work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
What you bring to the Team:
Strong Carpentry Skills
2+ years of experience working on high density residential construction projects/buildings.
A can-do attitude and always willing to learn.
Physically fit (ability to lift 50+ lbs, in and outdoors)
A teamwork mentality – you are willing jump into any situation to help out and lend a hand, no job is above or below you.
A sense or urgency and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
The ability to read blueprints and an understanding of the BC Building Code considered an asset.
First Aid considered an asset (OFA 2 or 3)
Telehandler operator certification
Skid Steer operator experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
