About the Position
Impact Promotions is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Vinyl Vehicle Wrap & Window Tint Installer to join our team in Thorold.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience completing full colour-change wraps, commercial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, decals, and automotive window tint, with a strong focus on precision and high-quality workmanship.
The regular schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend availability is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces, windows, and glass.
- Install full colour-change wraps, commercial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, partial wraps, decals, lettering, window graphics, and automotive window tint.
- Measure, cut, trim, and position vinyl and tint materials accurately.
- Ensure installations are free from bubbles, creases, lifting edges, contamination, gaps, and visible defects.
- Inspect vehicles before and after installation and document existing damage or concerns.
- Remove existing wraps, decals, and window tint safely.
- Complete minor repairs, touch-ups, edge sealing, heating, curing, and finishing work.
- Safely remove and reinstall minor vehicle components when required.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges involving vehicle shapes, glass, adhesives, and materials.
- Use heat guns, squeegees, blades, cutting tools, tint tools, and other equipment safely.
- Complete final quality checks to ensure work meets customer specifications and company standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, customer vehicles, and the work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Work with the design and production team to meet project deadlines.
- Assist with signage, window graphics, and related installation projects as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in vehicle wrapping, automotive window tinting, graphics installation, or a related field.
- Experience completing full colour-change wraps, commercial vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, partial wraps, decals, lettering, or automotive window tint.
- Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and finishing skills.
- Knowledge of vinyl, tint materials, tools, surface preparation, installation techniques, and aftercare.
- Ability to measure, trim, and hand-cut materials accurately without damaging vehicles.
- Ability to work independently, solve installation challenges, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and regularly bend, reach, kneel, and lift.
- Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to the Thorold location.
Assets
- Occasional availability for evening or weekend projects.
- Experience using vinyl or tint plotters and cutting software.
- Experience working with commercial fleets, specialty vehicles, or large-format graphics.
- Experience installing paint-protection film.
- Experience with signage, wall graphics, or other vinyl applications.
- Manufacturer training or certification in vehicle wrapping or window tinting.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
