Full-time: $50,000 – $65,000/year
Part-time: $25.00 – $31.00/hour
About the Opportunity
CheckMate.ID Corp. is a Vancouver-based fintech building software for high-speed, high-liquidity financing across Canada and the U.S. We are hiring two accountants — one full-time permanent and one part-time — both reporting directly to the CFO and working on-site at our Vancouver office. What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day accounting: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
- Prepare daily cash flow summaries, weekly dashboards, and monthly financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government filings.
- Work with our technology team to test and optimize integrations between our proprietary platforms and QuickBooks Online.
What You Bring
- CPA designation or active CPA candidate preferred.
- Full-time: 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Part-time: 3+ years.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts); Power BI, Google Sheets an asset.
- Interest or experience in FinTech, lending, or SaaS; exposure to automation or data query tools is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada on a permanent basis and able to work on-site in Vancouver, BC.
Work Location Requirement
Both positions are performed 100% on-site at our Vancouver, BC office. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available, as the role requires in-person access to secure financial systems and close collaboration with the finance and technology teams.
